Food For Thought

So yeah, I havent been on here in a while. Ive been trying to adjust being back.
"But Chris, youve been back for weeks!!"
Yes, well, I dont know how many weeks I have been back but it feels like just a few days have passed. I havent been able to nail down a consistent schedule yet so I have been unable to adjust to anything thus far.
But, onwards......
I have had time to watch some movies recently ;)
I have spoken to a few of you about these documentaries but I wanted to put it out there for the masses. Each is available on demand through Netflix.
The first Doc is:
Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead
I do like a lot of the info presented within the doc. I do not agree with going on a 60day juice fast. I am interested myself in doing a 10 day juice fast just to see what happens. I think too long without muscle protein from other animals the muscles within the human body would break down or be underfed causing low strength levels and loss of muscle. During the 60day fast the main guy had little to do every day for regular life and was thus therefore able to maintain a low energy output/input without much negative effect. A normal person, say a mother with 3 kids, would probably not fare so well. Im interested though and thinking.....
The second doc is:
FoodMatters. There isnt much within this documentary that I can argue with. It is a great doc for people who think that the GOV has our best interest at hand. A lot of people cant contemplate how the medical industry really works; "if highly educated people knew exactly what cured cancer then we would all know." I hear this a lot. Or "why would our own government want its people to be sick."
Oh, dear, if you really knew what was going on.
If you do watch either of these hit me back in comments and let me know what you thought.
Also, just because its really good add Rango to the list of what to watch as well. Its a really good flick. Another is SourceCode. Make sure you watch the extras of SourceCode so we can get into a bright and early 6am chat about quantum physics like what happened this morning ;)
